We were in our early fifities when we started asking ourselves were we working to live - or the other way around !

We drew up criteria for where we would like to purchase a holiday home. These included the list shown on the Home Page.

We went on a house hunting visit to Malta and secured an offer of finance from HSBC Bank in Malta, who were very helpful.

After looking at lots of properties, we purchased Marathana in the Pembroke area of St George's Bay. That was in 2002 and we have never regretted it.

Our house has increased significantly in value, but just as importantly, we have somewhere that we can escape to - and that our family and friends can share.
The lack of a language barrier has helped us to make friends more easily with our Maltese neighbours who made us feel really welcome.

We decided to set up the web site to share our experience of purchasing a property in Malta with others.

We offer our advice and guidance free of charge, and we will of course arrange property finding visits for you in conjunction with our associates in Malta.
